State Highways in Tirupur

Tirupur's State Highway roads are broken into two divisions, namely the Tirupur Division and Udumalpet Division. The State Highway 19 runs through Avinashi and connects with the Kochi Road. National Highways in Tirupur

The National Highway 47, which is 620km long connects Kanyakumari and Salem. NH 47 flows through major Southern Districts like Coimbatore, Tirupur, Kochi and Trivandrum. A prominent number of Textile industries and parks are located around this highway between Coimbatore, Erode and Tiruppur districts. Additionally, most of NH47's traffic attributes to its consumer trucks with construction materials and fabric varieties. The National Highway 67 starts from Palladam, Tirupur District. The National Highway connects Tamil Nadu with Karnatake. It is in close intersection with NH 212. The Highway flows through major cities like Palladam, Sulur, Coimbatore Bypass and Mettupalayam.
